Apparently my comment didn't take earlier this afternoon. While I'm sad you didn't get to see Manosque proper, Aix is a dreamy place to me. I don't have any recommendations, unfortunately. I spend a day there every time I visit the region, but usually I just wander around looking at the fountains, exploring the side streets, and loading up on pastries. There's a few historical homes and monuments that I recall visiting, and that I enjoyed. Keep the posts coming!
Are you at the hq's in Paris or in Manosque? My family lives in Manosque and it's a very charming Provencal town.
ReplyDeleteI was in Manosque this afternoon! We rode a bus up to the hq, so I didn't spend time in the village. We are in Aix for three nights. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeletePuyricard and L'Occitane look so heavenly! I love both their history. Chocolate, fragrance..delicious. So fun you're digging it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great trip to L'Occitane!
ReplyDeleteChris, I think I missed the memo on what you are doing. I assume this is all for a new job you have. Give me a quick update.
