I Skipped Dinner and Had a Wander Instead

On a Monday night in Lyon, I witnessed a protest to recognize the Armenian genocide of 1915,

An ivy-covered stairway,

A Baroque choir rehearsal at St. Buenaventura,

A twilight crossing of the Rhone River,

And the night lights of Notre Dame de Fourviere on the hill.
