Renaissance Koh Samui: 12 hours in bed

The Renaissance Koh Samui is lovingly run down. I don't mean shabby or dirty, but rather supremely comfortable. Comfortable in a sofa you love to sleep on, or in a porch swing kind of way.

I loved my room so much, that I took pictures to file away in my future dream house folder. I loved my room so much that went to bed at 8 p.m. and stayed there until 8 a.m.  I loved my room so much that I slept all night lengthwise on my king-sized bed, just because I could.

I'll end up here later in life, on a two month stint, to write my memoirs.

It also helps that the Resort's Banana Leaf restaurant has the best curry I've ever put in my mouth.
